Today was SPLENDID!

I did fuck all.

Seriously...I did fuck all!

No...wait...I lied.

I went to the store and bought a big ass Cadbury Premium Dark chocolate bar and a bag of original flavored Hickory Sticks. I love both of those junk foods!

And I did chuck balls with the ball chucker for a solid 2.5 hours...my weapon of choice with 3 German Shepherds. With a ball chucker I can send countless balls whizzing around the yard. Bastards....they never tire of it. My arms gave out. I need an apprentice ball chucker! Anyone up for it?

No photos from today...but here's a few things that make me laugh! And make me think.

I think I have added this before, but shit, it's still funny!

My weird friend, the same person who wants me to take photos of all the outdoor toilets in B.C.Parks I go to ( hi Freak! ), who will forever be nameless ( except for the handle "Freak" )sent me this today. Hide the kiddies eyes...or yours, if you are a prude *delicate*.

Tammy Grimes is a hero of mine. Am I too old to have hero's? I'm not. Most of my hero's are found in animal welfare/advocates. Please take a boo at Tammy's website, and specifically read about the dog Doogie.
Dogs Deserve Better

And while I know the above happened a bit ago, it is still relevant, and warms the cockles of my heart. ( cockles?? whatevaaa... )

I do have 3 photos from yesterday! Grease bins at the restaurant. Disfuckinggusting!!!! This stuff creeps into almost all products, in the end! Ewwwww!!

The bin

Even an uglyasser close up...

Last day at work...YAY! and Booooo!

Today is my last day of work. I live in a small tourist town, which means we rely on tourists to line our pockets with gold. ( yah...right! ) This shortage of work, will have me on the dreaded Employment Insurance for a few months until all the travelers start traveling again. ( goooo travelers! )

What shall I be doing?

Will I be thinking of new adventures?

Will I be running and playing?

Or will I be...

Maybe I will be lazing on the couch?

Maybe I'll go to the river and hunt for heart rocks!

Go for walks....

Warming myself by the fire?

Someone will be along any second to play ball...I know that!

Will I walk through fields?

Will I be able to shake things off that bother me?

Will I be melancholy?

Or serious?

All of the above! But mostly, I'll be looking at the world in a whole new light...

All these photos are of Jack, my bestest friend in the world. ( edited to add that Jack passed away this past February )

I'll be doing all of the above! As well as less important things. Like painting my bedroom, cleaning the wall areas where wet and dirty dogs have muddied them up, buying brackets to put shelves on walls for my books....all sorts of less important stuff.

I'll definitely be getting back into beading, I missed that during the past few months.

But most of all, my daughter-in-law Sumeet and I are wanting to start our own business which we need to get to work on. ( I'll fill you in on that later! )

K, I'm off to make myself beautiful for my last day of work! Ha!

Japanese Friendship Garden - Hope, B.C.

This Japanese Friendship Garden, is in my home town of Hope B.C. and was built in 1991. It is dedicated to all the Japanese-Canadians who were sentenced to internment camps during World War 2.

Internment camps prove ( IMHO ) what public hysteria and racism can do.

Lovely, but sad all the same.
