This is an Easter Lily that I set out in the garden in April. I really didn't think it would survive....but it is budding! I wonder if it stays nice for the next several days, maybe it will flower. *crossing fingers *

Because I've wanted a bike for a bit now to ride with the dogs, but also because the cost of fuel is soo incredible and I can now bike to work and back.
I hadn't been on a bike in, oh man, must be 15 years! The test ride around the block made me realize I had some muscles that hadn't been used in eons. Ow! But, she's a sweet lttle ride....now all I need is a bell, a basket, and a rat trap on the back.
Wait. No basket and no rat trap, but definitely a bell. Yep, a bell. Ohhhh, maybe an airhorn?! BAHAHAHA!!!

You sure have a green thumb. Everything looks so healthy -- you are further north than I -- I would have assumed your fall was coming to a close - shows what I know! Last time my lilies bloomed was in August, although I do have a couple of Stella d'Oros reblooming.

It has been staying between 10 and 15 celcius,and even though I know nada about Lilies, I am shocked those plants are still blooming....or for that matter,alive!!

Wow, great shots, first let me compliment on the wonderful array of garden wonders, totally loved every bit of it, especially the yellow Lily. But I hope you won't mind if I say the boys (& the tomboy) have totally won me over. How poor would a life be without the good spirit of our glorious furry kids?
ReplyDeleteAs far as the bicyclettes go, my forlorn and rusty object of neglect could better serve as a pot hanger or a hideous garden feature ;-) The air horn could possibly be my only driving force LOL
Seriously though, what a great gadget. It must be such a treat cycling about with your boys in a beautiful countryside that you live in, with the fresh air, the overwhelming nature and the AIR HORN!AT least you can keep up with your boys now. Or can't you ? LOL
P.S. Kristy the Cat sends many thanks for your gentle thoughts and luckily, she's been saved just about in the last bloody second.I'm just so utterly happy to have her back, and improving as days go by.
But I will now forever live in fear of the evil people with rat poison.
