Henry.... Ohhhh Henry

Keyboard for my laptop is ordered...should be here within the week, I hope. Please excuse the mess....looks pretty messy without the first letter of the alphabet! I have to type my posts in Word, then copy nd paste here, nd hope the spellchecker picks up the errors.
This honey pie is poifect! Personality plus, handsome to behold , healthy so far…’tis love.
Introducing ears of GSD pup.

He can do ANYTHING he wants to Ticket...she dores him!

The water dish MUST go in the shower,or he spills it. Little dufus.

He has to put his paw in his food nd water dishes so he knows where the stuff is. *grin*

Yesterday was Henry’s attempt t climbing the stirs to our suite. ( have I told you that I m in love with Ticket??) Henry got up to the third step with my guidance, then when he looked like he ws bout to give up, Ticket came down, touched noses with him, ran to the top and barked. He smiled…seriously smiled, then went few more steps nd stopped. Ticket once gin ran down, touched noses and ran to the top and barked. Henry smiled gin and climbed to the top!! It was magnificent to watch that unfold. Geeez, she never fails to make me smile.

My god, this missing key is beyond irritating! It hs taken me 2 fucking hours to just post this wee bit!!

Puter Problems

My laptop has an attitude problem. It won't type the letter *A*. And so I am using this weird Macbook in the office at Saints. Hopefully when I get it back from the computer hospital, it won't cost me a lot of money!!

Pisses me off, because I have some really photos of all my guys! Went to an abandoned paintball park yesterday set into the forest...it was a lovely afternoon. And Henry walked, for the first time, on a leash! He had a wee temper tantrum when I had to hold him back from some nasty mean Stinging Nettles though. He fought like a trooper, but I won. :))

Hopefully my computer is back tomorrow!

Ticket finds that the grass on the other side of the fence really is greener.

Strike a pose Frankie!

Henry being cheeky!

Woodpecker damage. Or, Woodpecker fun depending if you're a Woodpecker or not!

Clematis flower with a pretty spider on the top right.

WARNING!!!!
These next 2 photos are not for the squeamish!! On a recent walk we came across 2 dead bears. Not pretty.

Grocery store parking lots have some fun photo opportunities...as the photo above attests to. Ya' think the person is a believer or what??!!

Watcher....very happy to not be afraid of stairs!

Stairs are scary!!

Poor poor Watcher. He has had an extremely stressful 2.5 days.

We arrived at Saints very early Monday morning and. strolled around the bottom of the shop so they could have an idea of the layout. Then came the moment I knew there was going to be a problem with...the 14 stairs up to our suite.

Lo and behold Ticket charged up the stairs and down like a trooper. Watcher,on the other hand, refused to move up from the 3rd step. I tried raw rib bones, chicken breast bone and canned dog food. Nada. He whined all night down stairs...poor baby!

Last night I tried Tripe, I figured if he didn't come up with that in front of his face,he wouldn't for a longtime, if ever. He got all the way 3rd from top step and turned and cautiously made his way back down. DOLT!!

I even managed to get Henry up 4 steps with help! I looked at Watcher and said,"look buddy....even a blind puppy can do it!" The shame of that didn't even work!

Carol suggested we close up the open spaces between steps, insert spindles/slats/something on the edges that weren't against the wall. Lots of work, but whatever it takes to get the boy upstairs!

This afternoon I was playing with Henry and had the door shut. I heard Ticket whining on the other side, opened the door and........HOLY SHIT!! There was Watcher, sitting beside Ticket on the top step. He strolled in all proud of himself, found the bed and promptly fell asleep. YAY!!!

NOW I feel at home with all my dogs with me.

Then and now

Percy was just a wee babe, a couple days old when he came to live at Saints. Here's a couple of photos from March 20th, 2007.

The following photo of Percy was last week. Handsome young steer!

Saints is having thier annual fundraiser "Wishes For Whiskers" soon and each table is hosted by an animal. The following link will take you Percy's story. Percy on Parenting…

Another photo taken in 2007 of Carl, an Alpaca. He looks pissed!

I suppose he was warning me to stay away from his sheep.

Well, I'll tell ya'....it's getting brutal waking at 5:30, walking dogs, feeding dogs, then driving 1.5 hours to Saints. Then driving home, walking dogs, feeding dogs, playing with dogs, then bedtime by 10ish.

Next Monday I and my dogs are going to start staying at Saints Mon. to Fri., then going home on the weekends. There's a sweet little suite in a HUGE shop there, it's perfect.

This is Henry. He's an 11 week old German Shepherd pup. Blinded from birth. He's my new partner. I wuv Henry!
