Jones Lake

Absolutely stunning. I spent the entire time in the boat with my mouth open...staring at the wondrous beauty of it all.

We headed to the first boat launch. And omg, the launch had been taken over by young flesh...they were celebrating graduation for the weekend. They literally took over the boat launch and set up their tents....right on the launch!! Brazen little so and so's!

So we headed over to the other launch...and yay!

Fraser River...boating!

A friend took me for a trip up Fraser River yesterday! First time I've been in a boat in a couple of years. And it was wonderful. Tomorrow we'll be heading in the early am onto Jones Lake...whoo hooo!

This is where the Coquihalla River with all the cool clear water meets up with the silty Fraser River.

Farrah and Michael

While Farrah Fawcett's death was aniticipated, it still saddened me. Michael Jackson's death, un-nerved me. It saddened me deeply.

Both cultural icons.

I hope they are both able to rest in peace.

Sending warm thoughts to the children of both.
