President-Elect Barack Obama

When President-Elect Obama came out on the stage to give his victory speech, hand in hand with his family, and the crowd went wild and began clapping and hooting and hollering....I did the same right here in my little town in rural BC Canada.

I clapped and I hooted and hollered right alongside them.
And I cried. ( and my dogs were wondering wtf was with me )Yup, I cried and my tears came freely and with no reservations.

And every time Mr.Obama said "Yes we can"....I said it right alongside him.

Last night, after the election results were in, I popped into a corner store. The under 20 y/o clerk said, "Did you hear that the U.S. has a black President?"

I smiled at him and said, "Did you hear that the U.S. finally has a Democrat as President?"

He kinda' half smiled, blushed, and awkwardly handed me my milk and cigarettes .

Now, I know that it is a fantastic thing that the U.S. citizens voted in a true blue Democrat ( not a Republican passing themselves off as a Democrat as in previous elections...cough *clinton* cough).

And I also know that it is a fantastic thing that the U.S. citizens voted in a man of color. That shows how far they have come.

But I just did not want this *kid* focusing on the color part of it all. It shouldn't be like that. But then that's just me, wishing that equality played on since the beginning of time.

Great things are ahead of all of us. Do you feel it?

Below is his Victory Speech. And if you can watch this without getting all misty eyed, you are one cold fish.

Yes We Can!

The Promised Land ...a message from Michael Moore

Change we can believe in! Make the change!

The following is a message from Michael Moore

Friends,

Tomorrow.

All of us.

You, me, and everyone we know.

Eight years is enough. Eight weeks was enough.

We have a chance to redeem this country, to prove we're better than this, that which Bush has made of us.

McCain is right about one thing: Barack Obama is the most liberal senator in the United States Senate. More liberal than Ted Kennedy. When was the last time you had a chance to send the MOST liberal senator to the White House? Trust me, it won't happen again in our lifetime.

Every vote is critical -- even in hard red states like Texas and Alabama; and true blue ones like New York, California and Michigan. Tomorrow, we need to create a massive popular vote that will give Obama a stunning mandate to return this country to we, the people. Let's write one for the history books and rocket Obama into the White House.

Expect trouble tomorrow. Stand your ground. Don't let some clerk turn you away. Make noise. Call the media if they won't let you vote. Let the Obama camp know. Check out his Voter Protection Center. Know where your polling place is. Be careful inside the voting booth. The ballot still reads like a Sudoku puzzle. Be prepared for long lines. That's ok, you know how to bring the party with you! Make new friends. Plot your local revolution. The 28-year rule of Republicans (and Democrats who act like Republicans) is over. The Reagan Era dies tomorrow night. My God, I truly thought it would never end.

There are over a million of you on my list. Each of you know 5 or 10 people who may not vote. Offer to drive them to the polls. If they live across the country, call them and tell them how much it means to you that they go vote for Obama. Take your co-workers to lunch -- and to vote. Be creative. Come up with ways to convince the undecided to get their decided on and go vote. Make it fun. Lead the horse to water.

60 seats in the Senate!

30-seat increase in the House!

President Obama!

It's in your hands. The Promised Land.

Yours,
Michael Moore

Barack Obama TV Ad

Firstly, I'm a Canadian. And very proud to be one.

As a human being on this earth, I understand how powerful the President of the U.S. is. How much he touches the entire planet.

I also understand the devastation President Bush, and his gang, have splattered all over the world.

If you're an American, I hope you have registered to vote. If not, do it now. Go to BarackObama.com and find out where to register and get your ass down there first thing in the morning!

Here's 4 videos that contain the TV ad that aired prime time, Oct 29th.

And, I'll admit, that I teared up a few times. He's a real honest to god man...not an ounce of ego.

I wish he was running for Prime Minister of Canada. He'd win by a landslide. I pray he wins by a landslide in the United States.

Will work for milk.

I live on a farm and times are pretty hard, as the area I live in is considered economically depressed. It's so bad that I've heard of some of our neighbors were having a hard time making ends meet.

This morning I woke up to a knock at my door. When I answered the door, this is the pitiful sight I witnessed. It broke my heart!!

Heartbreaking!!
Just heartbreaking....!!
