BAHAHAHA!!

And, for your reading entertainment: Why I'd Be A Better VP Than Sarah Palin-Rosanne Cash

Japanese Friendship Garden - Hope, B.C.

This Japanese Friendship Garden, is in my home town of Hope B.C. and was built in 1991. It is dedicated to all the Japanese-Canadians who were sentenced to internment camps during World War 2.

Internment camps prove ( IMHO ) what public hysteria and racism can do.

Lovely, but sad all the same.

Fall colors

Fall is my second favorite season. I love the colors, the crisp smells, the putting to bed of nature for winter, by Mother Nature.

Kettle Valley

Virginia Creeper

The Lily in my garden is flowering!! With these chilly nights, I am astounded.....

Click on the photo below, and if you look closely you will see a tiny drop of dew falling from the white in center. Cool!

Next years peas!

And beans!

This morning I went to the garden, and, well, I am sad. Shriveled up cucumber leaves...

But a couple of brave cuke soldiers are fighting the cold....

SNOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

OMG....I LOVE winter. Now that is my favorite season! Oh wow, I get all excited when I think about winter walking and how utterly gorgeous and peaceful it is in my small corner of the world...* grin *

Randomness

Owwww, Watcher! You're gonna' have a pain in the neck when you wake!

20 pounds of peppers...preparing themselves to be pickled. ( where's Peter Piper when you need the dude? )

Garlic Chive flowers

Sweet Million cherry tomatoes still happening!!

This is an Easter Lily that I set out in the garden in April. I really didn't think it would survive....but it is budding! I wonder if it stays nice for the next several days, maybe it will flower. *crossing fingers *

Chocolate Mint flowering for the second time this year! Damn, this stuff smells delicious! Yuuuuuum!

Roses in all forms....

Sunflower still diggin' on the sun!

Another Lily enjoying this cool season.

Some wee Daisies that popped up in the garden...I love gifts from the flower Goddess!

The Fuscia tree. Next summer it will be dripping with flowers....hurry up next summer!

And here's a photo of my newest mode of transportation...( a grab from freecycle!! )

Because I've wanted a bike for a bit now to ride with the dogs, but also because the cost of fuel is soo incredible and I can now bike to work and back.

I hadn't been on a bike in, oh man, must be 15 years! The test ride around the block made me realize I had some muscles that hadn't been used in eons. Ow! But, she's a sweet lttle ride....now all I need is a bell, a basket, and a rat trap on the back.

Wait. No basket and no rat trap, but definitely a bell. Yep, a bell. Ohhhh, maybe an airhorn?! BAHAHAHA!!!

Watcher, looking devilishly handsome....

Yes Frankie, you are devilishly handsome too!

And my Ticket....the female of my 3 amigos, but every inch a tomboy.
