Favicons are the little pictures you see next to your blogger address at the top of the browser. ( see how mine is a purple paw? ) After you insert your code into your blogger template it will also appear in your, and others, "favorites"/Bookmark folder. Cool!
Find a photo you want to use and go to the following address which will open in another window so you can come back here and read more about it. ICON J . This site will resize it, make it an .ico file AND host it, all for free and no need to join!
Upload your photo.
You will have 2 options, Direct Download or they will host it for you. Copy the Direct Link.
Go to your blogs Dashboard, click on Design, then click on Edit HTML.
( Download your template. You should ALWAYS do this before making any changes. )
Do a search for the following: < /head >
Insert the direct link code directly above the < /head >
Click preview to see what you just made. If you like it click save, and that's it!
